Dry Rose Wine
Varietal Composition
60% Malbec from the vineyard of Moshe Fesherman, Mevo Hama, adjacent to Tel Fares (Golan Heights).
40% Carignan from the vineyard of Dror Eliraz in Moshav Lachish (Samson Area).
Production Highlights
The Malbec grapes were harvested at night and the juice was immediately separated from the skins in order to preserve aromas and freshness. The Carignan grapes were soaked for several hours for maximum color and flavor extraction and the juice was then separated from the skins. The wines were cold-fermented separately before the final blend was created.
Wine Characteristics
The wine has a particularly vivacious and attractive pink color and fresh red fruit aromas – mainly of strawberry and raspberry with a hint of herbs.
Yogev Rose 2009 is a dry, light-bodied wine with excellent crispness that goes down well with seafood ceviche in herbs, roasted chicken and Asian Cuisine.
