“90 Years of Heady Aromas”

FROM A FACTORY FOR REFINING JASMINE FOR THE FRENCH PERFUME INDUSTRY TO THE BINYAMINA WINERY

The tour explores the history of the building from 1922, and examines Baron Edmond de Rothschild’s life’s work to establish the settlement of Binyamina, as well as the early history behind the Zeltzer family’s winemaking heritage.
The guided tour of the Winery includes eye-opening explanations of the winemaking process starting from the vineyard, and continuing through the barrel room, grape receival bins and fermentation tanks, along with a visit to the winery’s state-of-the-art cellars. We make our way back through the grapevine trellis along the path to the Tasting Room in the newly renovated Visitors Center for a professional guided wine tasting of three of the wines and a liqueur produced at the Winery.
