Binyamina Winery has come a long way since the days when Zeltzer sourced his grapes solely from local vineyards. Today, over sixty years later, we recieve superb grapes from vineyards across the length of Israel, from the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee, including Kerem Ben Zimra, Alma, Kadesh Valley, to the Lower Galilee in the Mt. Tabor region, the Judean Hills, Karmei Yoseph, and in the south of Israel.
Binyamina Winery’s Visitor Center is an impressive historic building located in the heart of the picturesque village of Binyamina. The building was erected in 1925 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild as a factory for manufacturing perfume. Now, 87 years later, the two-story building has been restored and draws attention to its age-old heritage, as well as to the history and character of classical Europe, Baron de Rothschild’s mother country.1
